Motivação

Caros colegas, ontem vi uma publicação de um jovem advogado que estava na iminência de cancelar sua inscrição. Sei que não tá fácil, mas queria, não somente para ele, mas para todos que estejam passando por dificuldades, dividir esse lindo texto. Espero não sofrer retaliações, afinal, nem sempre somos bem vistos falando de algo sobrenatural.

"O Dr. Abraham, conhecido especialista em câncer, já estava a caminho de uma importante conferência em outra cidade, onde receberia um prêmio no campo da pesquisa médica.

Ele estava animado com o prêmio e assim embarcou em um avião para o local. No entanto, duas horas depois de o avião decolar, fez um pouso de emergência no aeroporto mais próximo devido a um problema técnico.

Com medo de não conseguir chegar a tempo da conferência, ele foi imediatamente à recepção para fazer perguntas. Ele descobriu que teria que esperar dez horas pelo próximo vôo até o seu destino! Ele alugou um carro e dirigiu-se à cidade da conferência, que ficava a quatro horas de distância.

Logo depois que ele saiu, o tempo mudou e uma forte tempestade começou.
O aguaceiro tornou difícil para ele ver, então ele perdeu uma curva que ele deveria fazer.

Dirigindo na chuva pesada em uma estrada deserta, sentindo fome e cansado, ele freneticamente começou a procurar por qualquer sinal de civilização. Ele se deparou com uma pequena casa esfarrapada e bateu na porta. Uma bela dama abriu a porta. Ele explicou sua situação e queria usar o telefone da moça, mas ela não tinha telefone. Ela, no entanto, pediu-lhe para entrar e esperar até que o tempo melhorasse. O médico que estava com fome e exausto aceitou a oferta. A senhora ofereceu-lhe algo para comer e beber.

Ela pediu-lhe para se juntar a ela em suas orações, mas ele recusou. Segundo ele, ele acreditava em trabalho duro, não em orações! Sentado à mesa e tomando seu chá, o médico observou a mulher rezar muitas vezes ao lado do berço de um bebê. Sentindo que a mulher poderia precisar de ajuda, o médico perguntou-lhe exatamente o que ela precisava de Deus e perguntou se Deus alguma vez ouviu suas orações.

Quando ele perguntou sobre a criança no berço, a mulher explicou que seu filho estava com câncer. E eles tinham sido aconselhados a consultar um médico chamado Abraham, que poderia curá-lo, mas ela não tinha dinheiro suficiente para pagar seus honorários.
Ela disse que Deus ainda não havia respondido suas orações, mas disse que Deus criaria alguma saída um dia. Ela acrescentou que não permitiria que seus medos superassem sua fé!

Atordoado e sem palavras, o Dr. Abraham começou a chorar! Ele foi forçado a dizer em voz alta: "Deus é grande" e se lembrou da mulher, toda a sequência de eventos ruins: mau funcionamento no avião, uma tempestade e como ele se perdeu. Tudo isso aconteceu porque Deus responde as orações, queria dar a ele uma chance de sair de sua escravidão na carreira materialista e dedicar algum tempo a uma pobre mulher indefesa que não tinha nada além de ricas orações!

Oh! Que Deus!

Motivation

Ladies and gentlemen, yesterday I saw a publication of a young lawyer who was about to cancel his application. I know it's not easy, but I wanted, not only for him, but for all those who are going through difficulties, to share this beautiful text. I hope not to suffer retaliation, after all, we are not always well seen talking about something supernatural.

"Dr. Abraham, a well-known cancer specialist, was already on his way to a major conference in another city where he would receive an award in the field of medical research.

He was excited about the prize and so boarded a plane to the venue. However, two hours after the plane took off, it made an emergency landing at the nearest airport due to a technical problem.

Afraid he could not make it to the conference, he immediately went to the front desk to ask questions. He discovered that he would have to wait ten hours for the next flight to his destination! He rented a car and drove to the conference town, which was four hours away.

Soon after he left, time changed and a strong storm began.

The downpour made it difficult for him to see, so he missed a turn he should make.

Driving in the heavy rain on a deserted road, feeling hungry and tired, he frantically began to look for any sign of civilization. He came upon a tattered little house and knocked on the door. A beautiful lady opened the door. He explained his situation and wanted to use the girl's phone, but she had no phone. She, however, asked him to come in and wait until the weather got better. The doctor who was hungry and exhausted accepted the offer. The lady offered him something to eat and drink.

She asked him to join her in his prayers, but he refused. According to him, he believed in hard work, not prayers! Sitting at the table and sipping his tea, the doctor watched the woman pray often by the side of a baby's crib. Feeling that the woman might need help, the doctor asked her exactly what she needed from God and asked if God ever heard her prayers.

When he asked about the child in the crib, the woman explained that her child had cancer. And they had been advised to consult a doctor named Abraham, who could cure him, but she did not have enough money to pay her fees.

She said that God had not yet answered her prayers, but said that God would create some way out one day. She added that she would not allow her fears to outweigh her faith!

Stunned and speechless, Dr. Abraham began to cry! He was forced to say out loud: "God is great" and remembered the woman, all the sequence of bad events: malfunctioning in the plane, a storm and how it got lost. All this happened because God answered the prayers, wanted to give him a chance to get out of his bondage in the materialistic career and to devote some time to a poor defenseless woman who had nothing but rich prayers!
