E o juiz esclareceu:

– Sim, todos nós olhamos para a porta. Exceto o seu cliente...

The lawyer and the client

A defendant was on trial for murder in England.

There was strong evidence about his guilt, but the corpse appeared.

Almost at the end of its oral arguments, the lawyer, fearful that his client was convicted, resorted to a trick:

-Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, I have a surprise for all of you, ' said the lawyer, looking at your watch. -Within a minute, the person presumably murdered in this case, enter the Court.

And looked out the door.

The jurors, surprised, too eager, were looking for the door.

A minute passed. Nothing happened. The lawyer then completed:

– Actually, I spoke and all of you looked forward to. Therefore, it is clear that you have doubt, in this case, if someone really was dead. Therefore, I insist that you consider my client not guilty.

The jurors, visibly surprised, withdrew for the final decision.

A few minutes later, the jury returned and pronounced the verdict:

-Guilty!

-But how? -asked the lawyer. -You were in doubt, I saw you all look intently at the door!

And the judge stated:

-Yes, we all look for the door. Except your client.

The shelter on fire

After a shipwreck, the sole survivor thanked God for being alive and being able to hold onto the wreck, floating to the ground, on a small uninhabited island and outside any navigation route.

With great difficulty and debris from the wreckage, he managed to assemble a small shelter to protect himself from the Sun, rain and animals and to save their few belongings, thanking you again for your good fortune.

In the days that followed, every food you could hunt or harvest, he thanked.

However, one day, when I was coming back from a walk through the Woods, found his shelter on fire, wrapped in high clouds of smoke.

Terribly desperate, he rebelled. Screaming, crying:

-The worst happened. I lost everything! God, why did you do this to me?

Cried so much that he fell asleep, deeply tired.

The next day, bright and early, was awakened by the sound of an approaching vessel.

-We came to rescue him, they said.

-How did you know I was here? He asked.

– We saw your smoke signal.

It is common to feel discouraged and even desperate when things go bad. But
God acts in our benefit, even in moments of pain and suffering.

Remember: If your only shelter is on fire, this may be a smoke signal that will reach you divine help!

Procure as janelas.

No matter where you come from

A man working as a Porter in the worst place in town. But what else could you do that man? The fact is that I had never learned to read or write. One day, entered as a young Manager, full of ideas, which decided to modernize the facility. I told the doorman:

-Starting today, the Lord, and in the lobby, will prepare a weekly report where will register the amount of people coming in and your comments about the services.
-I'd love to do that Sir, but I don't know how to read or write.
-Oh! I'm sorry! But so can not work here anymore.

The doorman felt as if the world falls apart. What to do? He remembered that when he broke any Chair or table, he used to. Thought this might be a good occupation to get a new job.

He decided he would use the money from your severance pay to buy a complete toolbox. As the village had no hardware store, traveled two days in a mule to go to the nearest town to perform the purchase.

On his return, a neighbor bought his hammer and paid for his trip. Other neighbors bought him a pair of pliers, a screwdriver and a cold chisel, since they didn't have time to travel.

The news began to spread through the town and many, trying to save the trip, did you orders. And our friend saved the words I heard many times: "I don't have time to travel for shopping".

One day, he remembered a friend who was Turner and blacksmith and thought this could produce the heads of hammers. And, why not, also the screwdrivers, pliers, chisels etc. So, in a few years, he became, with his work, in a Rico and prosperous manufacturer of tools.

Some made the village school has decided to donate. In it, in addition to read and write, children would learn some craft.

On opening day of school, the Mayor handed him the keys to the city, came to him and said:

– It is with great pride and gratitude that we ask that the Lord Valentin, Valentin Tramontina, speak a few words to our students!

Remember the wisdom of water: she never argues with his obstacles, but the skirts. When someone close a door, don't waste energy with the confrontation. Look for the Windows.

Socorrido e refeito o camelo, prosseguiram a viagem.

Nada o convenceu a andar.

On the back of the Caliph

A Caliph full of titles was a trip mounted on his camel, with a Butler in the back.

In the output for the journey, the Butler has recommended to the Caliph to give water to the camel. The Caliph replied that it was not necessary, because camel travels hours without drinking water.

To walk a few miles the camel passed out of thirst, I almost died. Rescued and rebuilt the camel, continued the trip.

The Butler asked the Caliph who they were by Sandy road, although hot, because it was safer. The Caliph chose to go through the forest more fresh. Further, the camel got stuck in a swamp, and it was difficult to get him.

To avoid more advice, the Caliph took his slave making him walk; and followed on your mount.

After some time, the camel stopped. I didn't want to continue. Lay down on the floor. Nothing convinced him to walk.

So the created the reached the camel rose willing to proceed. The Caliph put the servo on the back and followed his fate.

The Caliph decided that the camel looked more to the respect and care of the created than for its grandeur and its decorations.

Leadership, justice and love

There was, centuries ago, a tribe whose chief was regarded as superior to the heads of all the other tribes.

At that time, the superiority was measured by physical force. Thus, the most powerful tribe was the one who had the strongest boss.

But we're talking about had not only physical strength. He was also known for his wisdom.

Wishing the people live safely, he created laws covering all aspects of tribal life. Were severe laws that he, as impartial judge, did meet with accuracy.

Some made, problems started happening in the tribe. Someone was committing petty theft. The Chief met the tribe and with sadness in his eyes, he stressed that the laws had been made to protect them and help them. As all were they needed to live, there was no justification for the occurrence of theft. Thus, he established that the person responsible would have the usual punishment increased from 10 to 20 lashes.

The theft, however, continued. He returned to gather the Group and increased the punishment for 30 lashes. But the thefts continue.

-Please-asked the Chief. -I'm begging. For the sake of, you need to stop. They are causing suffering among us.

And increased the punishment to 40 lashes.

That day, those who were close to him, they saw a tear trickled down his face, when he dismissed the group.

Finally, a man came in saying he had identified the author of the thefts. The news spread and all gathered to see who it was.

A murmur of amazement toured the small crowd when the person was brought by two guards. The Chief's face turned pale in fright and suffering. Was his mother. An elderly woman and fragile.

"And now?" thought the people aloud. Everyone began to question if the head would still be impartial. I wonder if he would abide by the law? Would love for your mom able to stop him from fulfilling what he himself had set up? Notice-if the intimate struggle of the boss finally said:

-My beloved people. Do it for our safety and our peace. The 40 lashes should be applied, because the suffering that this crime caused us was too big.

Nodded and the guards did your mother take a step ahead. One of them withdrew her robe, letting the bony and arched back. The executioner, armed with whip, approached and began to unwind its instrument of punishment.

Right now, the boss took a step ahead. Withdrew his robe and all could see his broad shoulders, browned and firm. With great affection, he passed his arms around your dear mother, protecting her, all of them with his own body. He nuzzled his face mom and mixed his to hers. Muttered something in your ear, and then made a sign so to the person in charge.

The man approached and struck, shoulders strong and vigorous of the Chief of the tribe, a swing after another, until you're exactly 40.

It was an unforgettable moment for the whole tribe who learned that day, how can harmonize with perfection, love and justice.

Lessons from the geese

When a goose flaps its wings, it creates a "vacuum" for the next bird. Flying in a "V" formation, the whole flock has 71% better performance than if the bird flew alone.
Lesson: people who share a common direction and sense of community can achieve their goals more quickly and easily because they are counting on help from others.

Whenever a goose gets out of formation, it suddenly feels the resistance by trying to fly alone and quickly returns to the group, taking advantage of the "aspiration" of the bird immediately in front of you.
Lesson: If we accept the help of sensitivity, colleagues and be helpful to other.

When the leader goose gets tired, it changes to the end of the training and another takes his place in the front position.
Lesson: you need to be a relay of tasks and sharing leadership.
People as well as the geese, are interdependent.

The geese back in training, CAW to stimulate and encourage the leaders to increase the speed.
Lesson: we need to ensure that our words are encouragement and not discouraging.

When a goose gets sick, injured or is down, two geese out of formation and follow to help you and protect you. Stay with it until it is fit to fly again or die. Only then they resume the normal procedure, with other training, or go after the gang.
Lesson: common sense indicates that we should support our colleagues in difficult moments.

E assim fizeram. Até perfume colocaram no animalzinho.

Ficou lindo, parecia vivo, diziam as crianças.

Logo depois ouvem os vizinhos chegarem. Notam os gritos das crianças.

– Descobriram!

Não passaram cinco minutos e o dono do coelho veio bater à porta, assustado. Parecia que tinha visto um fantasma.

– O que foi? Que cara é essa?

– O coelho, o coelho...

– O que tem o coelho?

– Morreu!

– Morreu? Ainda hoje à tarde parecia tão bem.

– Morreu na sexta-feira!

– Na sexta?

– Foi. Antes de viajarmos as crianças o enterraram no fundo do quintal e agora reapareceu!

A história termina aqui.

Premature judgment

There were two neighbors.

One of them bought a rabbit for the children. The children of the other neighbour also wanted a pet. The man bought a German shepherd puppy.

Conversation between the two neighbors:

-He's going to eat my Bunny!

– No way. My pastor's cub. Will grow together, "catch" friendship ...

And, it seems that the owner of the dog was right. They grew up together and became friends. It was normal to see the rabbit in the yard dog and vice versa. The children happy with the two animals.

Behold, the owner of the rabbit was traveling with family and the rabbit was alone.

On Sunday afternoon, the dog's owner and his family were taking a snack when, suddenly, the German Shepherd with the rabbit between teeth, filthy, dirty dirt, dead.

Almost killed the dog to either strike him!

It said the man:

-The neighbor was right. And now? I could only give it!

A few more hours and the neighbors were going to get. What to do?!

Everyone looked at each other. The poor dog, crying out there, licking their wounds.

-Have you thought about how they're going to be children?

It is not known exactly who came up with the idea, but seemed foolproof:

-Let's wash the rabbit, let him clean, then we dry with the dryer and put it in your House.

And so they did. To put perfume on the puppy.

It was beautiful, seemed alive, said children.

Soon after they hear the neighbors arrive. Notice the cries of children.

– Found!

Not five minutes went by and the owner of the rabbit came knocking, scared. It seemed that he had seen a ghost.

-What is it? Why the long face?

– The rabbit, the rabbit ...

-What's the rabbit?

-Died!

– Died? Afternoon looked so well.

-Died on Friday.

-On Friday?

-Was. Before we leave the children buried in the backyard and now reappeared.

The story ends here.

What happens next doesn't matter. But the great character of this story is the dog. Imagine the poor, since Friday searching in vain for his childhood friend. After much sniffing, discovers the dead body and buried. What does he do? Probably with a broken heart, dig up the friend and will show to its owners, wondering do resuscitate him.

And the human being continues judging others ...

Another lesson we can take from this story is that the man has a tendency to judge the facts without first checking what really happened. How many times we took the wrong conclusions of situations and we own the truth?
