A Verdadeira Fé

The True Faith

A skeptic asked Devendranath Tagore:
I always talk about God, but proof of its existence?
Devendranath pointed to a light:
-You know what this is?
It's a light-replied the skeptic.
-How do you know it's a light? Devendranath asked.
I see, so there is no need to test.
So the same is true with the existence of God. I see him in me, out of my mind, I see him in and through each thing. So there is no need to test.
And continued:
-While the bee is on the outside of the petals of the lily and not tried yet the sweetness of its juice, her flat around the flower and buzzes. But as soon as she penetrates inside; silently she drinks the nectar. When someone is still arguing and speculating about a doctrine and religious dogmas, is why haven't tried the nectar of the true faith. So do silence and you will understand! Where the eternal spirit comes with its light, our terrestrial lamp is no longer required. Poor men who believe that the miserable human intellect lamps give more light than the sweet sparkle of divine stars!
