Perdoe!

God won't ask...

God won't ask what kind of car you used to drive, but He will ask how many people who needed help you transported.

God will not ask how big your house is, but will ask how many people you have housed in it.

God will not ask questions about the clothes in your closet, but will ask how many people you helped dress.

God will not ask the amount of your material possessions, but will ask to what extent they dictated your life.

God will not ask what your highest salary was, but will ask if you compromised your character to get it.

God will not ask how many promotions you have received, but will ask how you have promoted others.

God will not ask what title of job you held, but will ask if you performed your job to the best of your abilities.

God will not ask how many friends you had, but He will ask how many people you were friends with.

God will not ask what you have done to protect your rights, but will ask what you have done to secure the rights of others.

God will not ask what neighborhood you lived in, but will ask how you treated your neighbors.

And I wonder: what kind of answers will I have to give?

Do you want to be happy for a moment? Revenge yourself.
Do you want to be happy forever? Forgive!

A Prece

A Prece

the prayer

At night, when I put the two boys to sleep, one 6 and the other 3 years old, we hold our hands and say a prayer.

Only the 6 year old and I pray. The 3-year-old Josees usually remains quiet. Tonight, I asked Josees to simply say "thank you Jesus". I figured I should try to get him to say something in prayer. In his still garbled way of speaking he said it as best he could.

And then, we ended our prayer.

Usually, after prayer, we hug and kiss goodnight. Josees always leaves a cold, wet spot on my forehead, but it's a spot that eases and takes away all the worries of the day.

This time, when we were done, Josees said, in his own way,-Daddy, I want to say my prayer again.

- All right. I agreed a little suspiciously.

Josees, with his garbled speech, said one of the most touching prayers I've ever heard. He thanked God for his family individually, naming each name, his bicycle (actually a tricycle), his bed, our house, and a whole bunch of other things.

It was a beautiful moment.

My children taught me that a prayer is much more than a few memorized words. Elmer, the 6 year old, thanked God for his pillow, his clothes, his bed, his shoes, and many other things I never thought of.

Was it an advanced stage of materialism? No. It's the stage of being grateful for what you have.

Yes, children teach us a lot. I never heard Elmer ask for anything in prayer. He just thanks for what he was given. He has his wants and desires, believe me, but in prayer, only thanks.

After listening to a child's heartfelt prayers, I thought about how I never thanked God for everything I have. Mainly the "simple" ones.

Before going to bed, I had to kneel down and ask, from the bottom of my heart:
- Dad, can I say my prayer again?

O menino tinha ganhado a luta e o torneio.

Weakness or Strength?

A 10-year-old boy decided to practice judo despite having lost his left arm in a terrible car accident. Willing to face the difficulties and its limitations, he began the lessons with an old Japanese master.

The boy was doing very well, so he didn't understand why, after three months of
training, the master had taught him only one move and
finally he said:
- Sensei, shouldn't I learn more moves?

Sensei replied to the boy calmly and with conviction:
- This is really the only move you know, but this is the only
move you will need to know.

Not fully understanding, but believing in his master, the boy
kept training. Months later, the sensei enrolled the boy in
his first tournament.

Surprising himself, the boy easily won his first two
fighting. The third fight turned out to be the most difficult, but after
some time, his opponent became impatient and agitated and the boy
used his single move to win the fight.

Still amazed by his success, the boy was now in the finals of the
tournament. This time, your opponent was much bigger, stronger, and more
Experient. Concerned that the boy might get hurt,
they considered canceling the fight when sensei intervened.
- No way! let him continue.

In this way the boy using Sansei's teachings entered the fight and when he had the opportunity he used his movement to arrest him.

The boy had won the fight and the tournament. He was the champion. Later, at home, the boy and sensei review every move in every fight. So the boy mustered up the courage to ask what was really on his mind.
- Sensei, how did I manage to win the tournament with just one move?

"You won for two reasons," replied the sensei. First of all,
you have mastered one of the most difficult moves in judo. And secondly, the only known defense for this move is for your opponent to grab your left arm.

The boy's greatest weakness had turned into his greatest strength.... so, we too, can use our weakness so that it becomes our strength... what really matters is the power of determination.

“O senhor respondeu: ‘Muito bem, servo bom e fiel!
“O senhor respondeu: ‘Muito bem, servo bom e fiel!
“O senhor respondeu: ‘Servo mau e negligente!

The Parable of the Talents
“And he will also be like a man who, on his journey, called his servants and entrusted their goods to them.
To one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; each according to his ability. Then he left on a trip.
The one who had received five talents left immediately, applied them, and won five more.
The one with two talents also won two more.
But the one who had received a talent came out, dug a hole in the ground and hid his master's money.
“After a long time the master of those servants came back and settled accounts with them.
The one who had received five talents brought the other five and said: ‘You entrusted me with five talents; see, I won five more ’.
“The master replied:‘ Very well, good and faithful servant! You were faithful in the little, I will put you on the much. Come and share in your master's joy! ’
“The one who had received two talents also came and said:‘ You entrusted me with two talents; see, I won two more ’.
“The master replied:‘ Very well, good and faithful servant! You were faithful in the little, I will put you on the much. Come and share in your master's joy! ’
“Finally, the one who had received a talent came and said: 'I knew that you are a severe man, who reaps where he did not plant and joins where he did not sow.
So I was afraid, I went out and hid his talent on the floor. See, here's what belongs to you ’.
“The master replied:‘ Wicked and negligent servant! Did you know that I harvest where I didn't plant and gather where I didn't sow?
So you should have entrusted my money to the bankers, so that when I returned, I would receive it back with interest.
“Take his talent and give it to the ten.
For whoever has, more will be given, and will have in great quantity. But those who do not have it, even what they have will be taken away.
And cast out the useless servant in the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth '.

“Agora prove a água do rio”.

Jovem bebe, novamente, e responde:

SLAVE IS THAT WHO CAN CHANGE SOMETHING AND DOES NOTHING, according to the philosopher Epithet.
A young man complained to a Zen master about the difficulties he was going through, because his life was very painful, with several pains, and this kept him very sad. Then one day the young man wanted to know how he could go through the sadness, the pain, since it was a very big and complicated adversity.
Then the master went into the hut with the young man and shows him a bowl of salt and asks him to fill his hand, then the master took a glass of water and asked the young man to dip his hand into the glass and says:
"Shake a glass and drink!"
The young man drinks and replies:
"Wow! how horrible! ”
then the master asks him to repeat the same operation, but now dipping his hand in a river. Then the master orders:
"Now taste the river water".
Young man drinks again and replies:
“Delicious! fresh! it tastes wonderful!
Then the Master asks:
“What has changed? The salt? the amount or flavor? ”
In other words: It is not about changing the adversities of life, it is about changing yourself from a glass to a river, and so the adversities will not salt your life anymore. Anyway, don't fight against adversity! they are what they are! and always will be! transform you from cup to river.
Grow up! zoom in! and you will realize that these adversities will no longer change the tone of your life. In fact, there is a maxim of the epithet philosopher, in which he was a slave, who once said:
"You are a slave and you think you are a philosopher!"
And he said:
“Do you know that you are a slave? He is the one who cannot change a situation and keeps fighting, but the true slave is the one who can change something and does nothing ”.
In other words: changing the flavor and the amount of salt cannot be changed, but changing the glass in a river does. You can't escape traffic, but you can leave our house early. So slavery for Epithet is to FIGHT AGAINST WHAT WE CAN'T and BE PASSIVE IN WHAT WE CAN CHANGE.
