Uma criança pronta para nascer perguntou a Deus:

Dizem que estarei sendo enviado à terra amanhã...
Como eu vou viver lá,
sendo assim tão pequeno e indefeso?"

DEUS:Entre muitos anjos,
eu escolhi um especial para você. 
Estará lá te esperando e tomará conta de você.

CRIANÇA: Mas diga-me: Aqui no céu eu não faço
nada a não ser cantar e sorrir,o que é suficiente 
para que eu seja feliz. Serei feliz lá?

DEUS:Seu anjo cantará e sorrirá 
para você e,a cada dia, a cada instante,
você sentira o amor do seu anjo e será feliz.

CRIANÇA: Como poderei entender quando 
falarem comigo se eu não conheço 
a lingua que as pessoas falam?

DEUS: Com muita paciência e carinho, 
seu anjo lhe ensinará a falar.

CRIANÇA: E o que farei 
quando quiser te falar?

DEUS: Seu anjo juntará suas 
mãos e lhe ensinará a rezar.

CRIANÇA: Eu ouvi dizer que na terra 
há homens maus. Quem me protegerá?

DEUS: Seu anjo lhe defenderá, 
mesmo que isto signifique arriscar a própria vida.

CRIANÇA: Mas eu serei sempre 
triste porque não te verei mais.

DEUS: Seu anjo sempre lhe falará sobre 
mim e lhe ensinará a maneira de vir 
a mim e eu estarei sempre dentro de você.

Nesse momento havia muita paz no céu, 
mas as vozes da terra já podiam ser ouvidas. 
A criança apressada pediu suavemente:

Deus, se eu estiver a ponto de ir agora,
diga-me por favor o nome do meu anjo.

DEUS: Você chamará seu anjo de MÃE.

Guardian Angel

A child ready to be born asked God:
