Amor, Fartura e Sucesso

Uma mulher saiu de sua casa e viu três homens com longas barbas brancas sentados em frente ao quintal dela. Ela não os reconheceu e disse:
- Acho que não os conheço, mas devem estar com fome. Por favor, entrem e comam algo.
- O homem da casa está? perguntaram.
- Não - ela disse, está fora.
- Então não podemos entrar- eles responderam. 
À noite, quando o marido chegou, ela contou-lhe o que aconteceu.
- Vá até eles, diga que estou em casa e convide-os a entrar agora.
A mulher saiu e convidou os três homens a entrar.
- Não podemos entrar juntos- responderam.
- Por que isto? - ela quis saber. 
Um dos velhos explicou-lhe: 
- Seu nome é Fartura - ele disse apontando um dos seus amigos e, mostrando o outro, continuou: 
- Ele é o Sucesso e eu sou o Amor.
E completou:
- Agora vá e discuta com o seu marido qual de nós você quer em sua casa.
A mulher entrou e falou ao marido o que foi dito. Ele ficou arrebatado e disse:
- Que bom! Neste caso, vamos convidar Fartura. Deixe-os vir e encher nossa casa de Fartura.
A esposa discordou :
- Meu marido, por que não convidamos o Sucesso?
A cunhada deles ouvia do outro canto da casa.
Ela apresentou sua sugestão :
- Não seria melhor convidar o Amor? Nossa casa, então, estará cheia de amor.
- Atentamos pelo conselho da nossa cunhada. - disse o marido para a esposa.
- Vá lá fora e chame o Amor para ser nosso convidado. - completou.
A mulher saiu e perguntou aos três homens :
- Qual de vocês é o Amor? Por favor, entre e seja nosso convidado.
O amor levantou-se e seguiu em direção a casa.
Os outros dois levantaram-se e seguiram-no. Surpresa, a senhora perguntou-lhes:
- Apenas convidei o Amor, por que vocês entraram?
Os velhos homens responderam juntos: 
- Se você convidasse o Fartura ou o Sucesso?, os outros dois esperariam aqui fora, mas se você convidar o Amor, onde ele for iremos com ele, porque onde há amor, há também fartura e sucesso !

Love, Happiness and Success

A woman left her house and saw three men with long white beards sitting in front of her backyard. She did not recognize them and said,
"I do not think I know them, but they must be hungry." Please come in and eat something.
"Is the man in the house?" they asked.
"No," she said, out.
"Then we can not go in," they replied.
At night, when her husband arrived, she told him what had happened.
"Go to them, tell them I'm home and invite them in now.
The woman left and invited the three men inside.
"We can not go in together," they replied.
- Why this? she wanted to know.
One of the old men explained:
"His name is Fartura," he said, pointing to one of his friends and, pointing to the other, continued,
"He is Success and I am Love.
And he completed:
"Now go and argue with your husband which one of us you want in your house."
The woman came in and told her husband what was said. He was enthralled and said:
- How nice! In this case, we will invite Fartura. Let them come and fill our house with Fartura.
The wife disagreed:
"My husband, why do not we invite Success?"
Their sister-in-law listened from the other corner of the house.
She put forward her suggestion:
"Would not it be better to invite Love?" Our house, then, will be full of love.
"We're on our sister-in-law's advice. said the husband to his wife.
"Go outside and call Love to be our guest." he added.
The woman left and asked the three men,
"Which one of you is Love?" Please, come in and be our guest.
Love got up and headed toward the house.
The other two got up and followed him. Surprised, the lady asked them:
"I only invited Love, why did you come in?"
The old men answered together:
"If you invited Farrel or Success ?, the other two would wait outside, but if you invite Love, wherever he goes, we will go with him, because where there is love, there is also plenty and success!
