Te Encontrei Deus

Passei tanto tempo te procurando não sabia onde estavas,
olhava o infinito não te via.
E pensava comigo mesmo será que você existe?
Não me contentava, na busca e prosseguia.
Tentava te encontrar nas religiões e nos templos.
Você também não estava te busquei através dos sacerdotes
e pastores, também não te encontrei.
Senti-me só, vazio, desesperado e descrente.
E na descrença, te ofendi, na ofensa tropecei, e no tropeço caí,
e na queda senti-me fraco.
Fraco procurei socorro.
No socorro encontrei amigos.
Nos amigos encontrei carinho.
No carinho eu vi nascer o amor.
Com o amor eu vi crescer um mundo novo.
E no mundo novo resolvi viver.
E o que recebi resolvi doar.
Doando alguma coisa muito recebi.
E em recebendo senti-me feliz.
E ao ser feliz encontrei a paz.
E tendo a paz foi que enxerguei.
Que dentro de mim é que você estava.
E sem procurar-te.

I found you God


I spent such a long time looking for you, I did not know where you were,

I looked at the infinite I could not see you.

And I thought to myself do you exist?

I was not content with the search and I continued.

I tried to find you in religions and temples.

You also were not looking for you through the priests.

and shepherds, I have not found you.

I felt lonely, empty, desperate and unbelieving.

And in unbelief, I offended you, in the offense I stumbled, and in stumbling I fell,

and in the fall I felt weak.

I sought help.

In the rescue I found friends.

In my friends I found affection.

In the affection I saw the birth of love.

With love I saw a new world grow.

And in the new world I decided to live.

And what I got I decided to give.

Donating something much I received.

And on receiving I felt happy.

And when I was happy I found peace.

And having peace I saw.

That inside me you were.

And without looking for you.

I found you.
