Assembléia da carpintaria

Contam que na carpintaria houve uma vez uma estranha assembléia.

Foi uma reunião de ferramentas para acertar suas diferenças.

Um martelo exerceu a presidência, mas os participantes lhe notificaram que teria que renunciar.


A causa? Fazia demasiado barulho; e além do mais, passava todo o tempo golpeando.

O martelo aceitou sua culpa, mas pediu que também fosse expulso o parafuso, dizendo que ele dava muitas voltas para conseguir algo.

Diante do ataque, o parafuso concordou, mas por sua vez, pediu a expulsão da lixa.

Dizia que ela era muito áspera no tratamento com os demais, entrando sempre em atritos.

A lixa acatou, com a condição de que se expulsasse o metro que sempre media os outros segundo a sua medida, como se fora o único perfeito.

Nesse momento entrou o carpinteiro, juntou o material e iniciou o seu trabalho. Utilizou o martelo, a lixa, o metro e o parafuso.

Finalmente, a rústica madeira se converteu num fino móvel.

Quando a carpintaria ficou novamente só, a assembléia reativou a discussão.

Foi então que o serrote tomou a palavra e disse:

"Senhores, ficou demonstrado que temos defeitos, mas o carpinteiro trabalha com nossas qualidades, com nossos pontos valiosos. Assim, não pensemos em nossos pontos fracos, e concentremo-nos em nossos pontos fortes."

A assembléia entendeu que o martelo era forte, o parafuso unia e dava força, a lixa era especial para limar e afinar asperezas, e o metro era preciso e exato.

Sentiram-se então como uma equipe capaz de produzir móveis de qualidade.

Sentiram alegria pela oportunidade de trabalhar juntos.

Ocorre o mesmo com os seres humanos. Basta observar e comprovar.

Quando uma pessoa busca defeitos em outra, a situação torna-se tensa e negativa; ao contrário, quando se busca com sinceridade os pontos fortes dos outros, florescem as melhores conquistas humanas.

É fácil encontrar defeitos, qualquer um pode fazê-lo.

Mas encontrar qualidades... isto é para os sábios!!!!
