Um sábio passeava por uma
floresta com seu fiel discípulo, quando avistou ao longe um sítio de aparência
pobre e resolveu fazer uma breve visita.
Durante o percurso ele falou ao
aprendiz sobre a importância das visitas e as oportunidades de aprendizado que
temos, também com as pessoas que mal conhecemos.
Chegando ao sítio constatou a
pobreza do lugar. A casa era de madeira, faltava calçamento e os moradores, um
casal e três filhos, trajavam roupas rasgadas e sujas.
Ele se aproximou do pai daquela
família e lhe perguntou:
“Neste lugar não há sinais de
pontos de comércio e de trabalho. Então, como o senhor e a sua família
sobrevivem aqui?”
O senhor calmamente lhe
respondeu:
"Meu amigo, nós temos uma
vaquinha que nos dá vários litros de leite todos os dias. Uma parte desse
produto nós vendemos ou trocamos na cidade vizinha por outros gêneros de
alimentos e com a outra parte nós produzimos queijo, coalhada e outros produtos
para nosso consumo. Assim, vamos sobrevivendo".
O sábio agradeceu a informação,
contemplou o lugar por alguns momentos, despediu-se e partiu. No meio do
caminho, voltou ao seu fiel discípulo e ordenou:
“Aprendiz, pegue a vaquinha,
leve-a ao precipício ali na frente e a empurre, jogando-a lá embaixo".
O jovem arregalou os olhos
espantando e questionou o mestre sobre o fato de a vaquinha ser o único meio de
sobrevivência daquela família. Mas, como percebeu o silêncio absoluto do seu
mestre, foi cumprir a ordem. Assim, empurrou a vaquinha morro abaixo e a viu
morrer.
Aquela cena ficou marcada na
memória daquele jovem durante alguns anos e um belo dia ele resolveu largar
tudo o que havia aprendido e voltar naquele mesmo lugar e contar tudo àquela
família, pedir perdão e ajudá-los.
Assim fez e quando se aproximava
do local avistou um sítio muito bonito, com árvores floridas, todo murado, com
carro na garagem e algumas crianças brincando no jardim. Ficou triste e
desesperado imaginando que aquela pobre família tivera que vender o sítio para
sobreviver.
Chegando no local, foi recebido
por um caseiro muito simpático e perguntou sobre a família que ali morava há
uns quatro anos, ao que o caseiro respondeu:
“Continuam morando aqui”.
Espantado, ao encontrar os
familiares, viu que se tratava das mesmas pessoas que visitara com o mestre.
Elogiou o local e perguntou ao dono:
“Como o senhor melhorou este
sítio e está tão bem de vida?”
E o senhor entusiasmado lhe
respondeu:
“Nós tínhamos uma vaquinha que caiu
no precipício e morreu. Daquele dia em diante tivemos que fazer outras coisas e
desenvolver habilidades que nem sabíamos que tínhamos. Assim, alcançamos o
sucesso que seus olhos vislumbram agora”.

The Kitty on Cliff
A wise man was walking through a forest with his faithful disciple, when spotted from afar a poor-looking site and decided to make a brief visit.
Along the way he talked to the apprentice on the importance of the visits and the learning opportunities we have, also with people we barely know.
Coming to the site found the poverty of the place. The House was of wood, shim was missing and residents, a couple and three children, clothes torn and dirty trajavam.
He approached the father of that family and asked him:
"In this place there are no signs of trade points and to work. So, as you and your family survive here? "
The Lord calmly replied:
"My friend, we have a collection that gives us several liters of milk every day. A part of this product we sell or Exchange in the nearby town for other genres of food and with the other part we produce cheese, curds and other products for our consumption. So, we're surviving. "
The wise man thanked information, contemplated the place for a few moments, he said goodbye and left. Along the way, returned to his faithful disciple and ordered:
"Apprentice, take the Kitty, take it to the cliff up ahead and push, throwing it down there."
The young man's eyes bugged out amazing and questioned the master about the fact that the cow be the only means of survival in that family. But, as he realized the absolute silence of his master, was complying with the order. Thus, pushed the Kitty down the Hill and saw her die.
That scene was marked in the memory of that young man for a few years and one day he decided to quit what was learned and go back on the spot and tell all the family, ask for forgiveness and help them.
So did and when approaching the scene spotted a very beautiful place, with flowering trees, all fenced, with car in the garage and some children playing in the garden. Was sad and desperate imagining that poor family had to sell the site to survive.
Arriving at the scene, was greeted by a very nice homemade and asked about the family that lived about four years ago, when the caretaker replied:
"Continue living here".
Astonished, to find the family, saw that it was from the same people that visited with the master. Praised the site and asked the owner:
"As you have improved this place and is so good in life?"
And the Lord answered him excited:
"We had a cow fell on the cliff and died. From that day on we had to do other things and develop skills that we didn't even know we had. Thus, we achieve the success that your eyes see now ".
