Tinha 17 anos e podia morrer a qualquer momento.

No dia seguinte, o telefone tocou e a mãe do jovem atendeu.

Adoraria.

The record store

There once was a boy who was born with a disease that had no cure. Had 17 years and could die at any moment. Always lived in his parents ' House, under the constant care of the mother.
One day, he decided to leave alone and, with the permission of the mother, walked for a block, looking at the shop Windows and the people passing by. To come across a record store, noticed the presence of a girl about your age, lovely and beautiful. It was love at first sight.
Opened the door and entered, without looking for anything else. Approaching, shyly, arrived at the counter where the teenager was. When she saw him, gave him a smile and asked him if I could help him with something. It was the most beautiful smile he had seen, and the excitement was so strong that barely managed to say he wanted to buy a CD. Took the first found, without looking at what was, and told him, in awe:

This here.
Would you like the gift-wrapped?
Yes.

She left the bar and returned shortly after, with the CD very well packed. He took the package and left, mad with desire to be there, admiring that divine figure.

From that day on, all afternoon came back to the record store and buy a CD. Every time the girl left the counter and come back with a package more and more well-made, that he kept in the closet, without opening it.
I was in love, but was afraid of her reaction. As much as I always greet you with a sweet smile, didn't have the guts to ask her out and talk. Commented on this with your mother and she encouraged him a lot to ask her out.

A day filled with courage and went to the store again. Like every day, bought another CD and, as always, his beloved was wrap it. When she wasn't watching, hid a piece of paper with his name and number on the counter and left the store running.

The next day, the phone rang, and the mother of the young man answered. Was the girl asking for it.
The mother, who was disconsolate, nor asked, started crying and told him:

So, don't you? Passed away this morning.
Later, his mother entered the room of his son to look at your clothes and was very surprised at the amount of disks, all wrapped up. Got curious and decided to open one of them. In doing so, saw drop a small piece of paper, where it was written:

You are very nice. Don't you want to ask me out? I'd love to.

Excited, his mother opened another CD and it also dropped a paper that said the same thing and so all those she opened brought a message of love and hope to meet that boy.
That's life: don't wait too long to tell that special someone that you feel. Say it now. Tomorrow may be too late.
