Por onde passa, você faz brilhar ou ofuscar?

Um empresário de sucesso, dono de rede de lojas em shoppings, muito enfermo, estava em um leito hospitalar. O médico deu a entender que o caso era gravíssimo e que a morte estava próxima. Dessa forma, ele reuniu os três filhos e lhes propôs um desafio:

“Um de vocês vai se tornar presidente da companhia que levei anos para erguer. Para decidir qual é merecedor, vou dar a cada um uma nota de um dólar. Saiam e comprem o que puderem com esse dinheiro, mas quando voltarem a este quarto de hospital, hoje à noite, o que quer seja que vocês tenham comprado terá de encher este quarto de canto a canto”.

Os filhos ficaram entusiasmados com a oportunidade de dirigir uma organização tão bem sucedida. Todos foram à cidade e gastaram a nota de um dólar. Quando voltaram ao hospital, o pai perguntou:

“João, o que você fez com o dinheiro?”

“Bem, fui à fazenda de um amigo e comprei estes dois fardos de feno”.
Em seguida, desamarrou-os e começou a jogar para o ar. Por alguns instantes, o quarto ficou cheio de feno; mas depois de alguns minutos o material se acomodou no chão e não cobriu de canto a canto o espaço, como o pai havia proposto.

Chegou a vez do segundo filho: “Paulo, o que você fez com o dinheiro?”

“Eu comprei estes dois travesseiros de plumas”. Ato contínuo, abriu os travesseiros e espalhou as plumas por todo o quarto. Depois de algum tempo, elas se assentaram no chão e o quarto não ficou completamente cheio.

O último era o filho mais jovem:

“E você, Carlos, o que fez com o dinheiro?” A resposta surpreendeu a todos:

“Papai, inicialmente troquei a nota por moedas. Investi cinquenta centavos do meu dinheiro em alguma coisa que valesse bastante a pena, como manda a Bíblia. Dei vinte centavos a duas entidades filantrópicas da cidade. Doei mais vinte centavos à igreja, e com os dez centavos que sobraram, comprei duas coisas”.

O filho enfiou a mão no bolso e tirou uma caixa de fósforos e uma pequena vela. Acendeu a vela, apagou a luz e o quarto todo se iluminou. De canto a canto, o quarto ficou cheio, não de feno, não de plumas, mas de luz.

Emocionado, o pai disse:

“Parabéns, meu filho, você será o presidente da empresa, porque compreendeu uma lição muito importante sobre a vida. Você sabe como deixar a sua luz brilhar por onde passa”.

Then untied them and began playing for the air. For a few moments, the room was full of hay; but after a few minutes the material settled on the floor and not covered from corner to corner space, as the father had proposed.

"I bought these two down pillows". Continuous Act, opened the pillows and spread the feathers all over the room. After some time, they settled on the floor and the room was not completely full.
The latter was the younger son:

"And you, what did you do with the money?" The answer surprised everyone:
"Daddy, initially switched to note for coins. Invest 50 cents of my money on something that's worth a lot, as the Bible. I gave 20 cents to two charities in the city. Donated another 20 cents to the Church, and with the ten cents left over, I bought two things ".

The child stuck his hand in his pocket and pulled out a box of matches and a small candle. Lit the candle, the light and the whole room lit up. From corner to corner, the room was full of Hay, not feathers, but light.

Thrilled, the father said:

"Congratulations, son, you're going to be the President of the company, because it understood an important lesson about life. You know how to let your light shine wherever he goes ".
