Paciência na Espera

Uma jovem sonhou que havia morrido e ido para o céu. Enquanto um anjo lhe mostrava um aposento da cidade gloriosa, ela viu uma pilha de caixas junto a um canto.

Verificando que seu nome estava escrito em todas elas, perguntou ao anjo o que aquilo significava. "Bem," disse ela, "eu lembro de ter orado pedindo estas coisas lá na terra." O anjo respondeu: "Sim, quando quaisquer dos filhos de Deus faz pedidos a Ele, todos os preparativos são iniciados para que sejam atendidos. Mas, os anjos são orientados para retornar com tudo caso o solicitante não esteja esperando pela resposta.

Quantas vezes temos recorrido a Deus suplicando por Sua intervenção em situações que nos afligem? Com que freqüência temos clamado ao Senhor por nossas necessidades mais urgentes? E temos sabido esperar a resposta? Temos tido paciência paraque tudo aconteça no tempo de Deus?

Muitas vezes pedimos algo a Deus, tornamos a pedir no dia seguinte, insistimos em um dia mais e, se a resposta não veio na velocidade que desejávamos, paramos de orar e até esquecemos daquela necessidade. Deixamos de perseverar na fé e perdemos a bênção que Deus tinha preparado para nós simplesmente porque agimos como se não a quiséssemos mais. O segredo de uma vida abençoada diante de Deus consiste em confiar sempre que Ele o fará. Pode demorar um dia, um ano, dez anos... mas continuaremos crendo que no tempo certo e da forma correta "Ele nos atenderá."

Se você tem colocado no altar de Deus a conversão de uma pessoa querida, se está aguardando a realização de um grande sonho, se está orando há muito tempo por algo que tornará sua vida bem melhor, não desanime... confie... espere e sua bênção chegará! 

Sempre acredite em Deus, e siga em frente.

Patience in waiting

A young woman dreamed you had died and gone to heaven. While an Angel showed him a room of the glorious city, she saw a stack of boxes with a corner.

Noting that his name was written in all of them, asked the Angel what it meant. "Well," she said, "I prayed asking these things back home." The Angel replied, "Yes, when any of the sons of God makes requests to him, all the preparations are started to be met. But, the angels are instructed to return with all if the requestor is not waiting for the reply.

How many times have we resorted to supplicating God for his intervention in situations that afflict us? How often we have been clamoring to the Lord for our most urgent needs? And we have known to expect the answer? We have been patient so that everything happens in God time?

Many times we ask something to God, we ask the next day, we insist on one more day, and if the answer didn't come at the speed we wanted, we pray and we even forgot that need. We persevere in faith and lose the blessing that God had prepared for us simply because we act like I wanted more. The secret of a blessed before God is to always trust that he will. It may take a day, a year, 10 years ... but we will continue believing that at the right time and in the right way "He will answer us."

If you have placed on the altar of God the conversion of a loved one, if you're waiting for the realization of a great dream, if you're praying for a long time for something that will make your life so much better, don't be discouraged ... trust ... wait and his blessing will come!

Always believe in God, and move on.
